This project centers on a story inspired by an ancestral shrine visit, blending elements of both documentary observation and fictional imagination. It begins with a journey to an ancestral shrine in a southern hometown, where ceremonial objects and intricate interior details evoke a quiet reverence. As incense is lit before ancestral and mythical murals, the atmosphere subtly shifts — and the space begins to awaken. Boundaries between reality and memory dissolve, revealing a surreal maze of symbols, spirits, and cultural echoes.
